Privacy policy
Short version: today the city has no accounts, no sign-in, no cookies, no analytics and no ads. It collects nothing about you beyond the standard logs of the web host. We never sell personal data.
Who we are
AI Survivor City is a free browser game and visualisation of an experimental trading bot (the Survivor Bot). It is run under the project name "AI Survivor City". In this policy "we" and "us" mean the AI Survivor City project.
What we collect today (preview)
- Nothing from you directly. There is no sign-up, no sign-in, no forms, no chat and no tracking or analytics scripts. The city does not set cookies.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Like every web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare handles this under its own privacy policy. We can see aggregate traffic numbers (for example, how many requests a day), not profiles of visitors.
- Settings on your device. The game remembers your settings (graphics quality, sound volume, music on or off, a few interface choices) in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
What we plan to collect later
Sign-in, avatars and multiplayer are planned. Before any of these start, this page will be updated and you will see what is collected at the moment you choose to sign in. The plan is:
- Login profile (only if you sign in): the account identifier from the sign-in provider you choose (for example Google or Discord), the display name you pick, and your email address if the provider shares it. A guest mode without an account is planned too.
- Gameplay data: your avatar, points, XP, quests, badges and leaderboard entries.
- Chat and moderation data (when multiplayer arrives): messages you send in the city and reports, kept for a limited time so that abuse can be handled.
- Product analytics: anonymous usage statistics (which areas are visited, load times, errors) to improve the game.
How we use data
Only to run the city: to show your avatar and progress, keep the game fair and safe, fix bugs and see which parts people enjoy. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
We never sell personal data
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We share it only with the services that run the city for us (hosting, and later sign-in and the game database), only as far as they need it, or where the law requires it.
Deletion and your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the data linked to you. When accounts exist, we will delete your account and its gameplay data on request. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights (for example under the GDPR); we will honour them.
Children
The city is not aimed at children under 13. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please do not sign in once accounts exist without a parent's permission.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top. Bigger changes (such as the start of sign-in) will be shown in the city as well.
